Q. SHOULD YOU REPLACE OR REPAIR AN APPLIANCE?

A. An older appliance in a house results in one of two choices. You can schedule professional appliance repair in an attempt to save money and keep using your current stove, refrigerator, dishwasher or dryer or washing machine or replace the appliance with a new one.

Appliances come with an expected lifetime. If your broken appliance is within the early or middle timeframe of that average lifetime, we would encourage calling our appliance repair service. If the appliance is coming close to the end of its lifetime, we recommend replacing it with a new model if you have a budget for it.

Below are the average lifetimes of each type of household appliances:

Dishwasher: 10 years
Washer: 11 years
Dryer: 14 years
Refrigerator: 15 years
Gas Ovens: 15 years
Electric Stove: 15 years
Freezer: 15 years

Q. ARE YOU ABLE TO YOU FIX MY APPLIANCE DURING THE INITIAL VISIT?

A. In most cases appliances are fixed in the first visit. Repairmen stock service vans with 90% of the common manufacturer appliance parts and all of the important tools to complete our appliance repair service. If a technician has to come back at a later date to complete a repair, there will not be an add-on service cost. We estimate that technicians complete over 95% of our appliance repair appointments on the first visit.

Q. IS THERE A TIMEFRAME FOR AN APPOINTMENT?

A. Yes. We provide a 2-3 hour window for our technician to be at your residence. We know how important your time is so we do our best to ensure we arrive in the earlier portion of the scheduled service window. But, if a previous appointment or repair takes much longer than we thought it would, this timeframe allows the repairman a little time to still arrive on time within the service window. We call 10-20 minutes prior to their arrival.
